Trouble Getting in

When I double-click on the pub server, it freezes at the downloading the .pk3 file, and then exits me to the main menu.

Is there a solution?

the automatic downloads don't work at the moment, since the server is moving.

For now there are two solutions for your problem:

a) Disable automatic downloads by going to Setup -> Options -> uncheck "Auto Downloads". However, that way you will only be able to play the standard-maps.

b) Manually download the required maps from our website and save them to your ETF directory inside the Enemy Territory directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etf )

And additionally those maps:

It's recommended that you don't use Internet Explorer for downloading those files, there seems to be a bug which gives those files a .zip instead of a .pk3 extension, use Firefox instead. You do NOT have to unpack/unzip any of those files.
